The Department of CSE was established in the year 2007 and it offers 4 year B.Tech CSE course which has an intake of 60 students for every academic year and M.Tech CSE Course

  • CISCO Network Academy is available for Students to prepare for CISCO Certifications.
  • Six state-of-the-art laboratories – Programming Lab, Windows NT Lab, UNIX Lab, IT Workshop, Language Lab & CC Lab. � Over 390 high configuration branded (IBM, HP & Wipro) systems and three Intel Xeon dual processor servers.
  • 10 MBPS Bandwidth Internet connectivity BSNL.
  • 10 MBPS Bandwidth Internet wifi campus.
  • Dedicated Lab for Internet with 150 latest IBM systems.
  • Digital library, e-journals, e-learning & e-book facilities.
  • LAN connectivity through OFC & Intranet.
  • Advanced and latest software technologies.
  • Cyberoam UTM, Firewall facility is available for providing all the following functions for the entire Institute.

Functions of Cyberoam: ANTI VIRUS, ANTI SPAM, CONTENT FILTERING, BAND WIDTH MANAGEMENT, VPN SERVICE, NAT POLICY etc.

Computing Facilities

The facilities comprise of 150 networked PCs with the latest configuration of Intel Pentium – D – Dual Core 2.8 GHz systems with 17″ LCD monitor installed in a fully AC computer center. The servers are equipped with Altos G540 (2 – way server) with XEON 5050 3.0 GHz 2×2 M 667FSB (x1), 2 GB DDR II RAM and 160 GB Easy swap 7200 RPM SATA II HDD (x2). The servers run on Linux & Windows platform. All the departments are linked to a wide range of software, communications and print services. The open-access to 4 MBPS internet is a part of an extensive information network connecting the entire campus.

Added to this advanced hardware facilities, operating systems and software’s like Red Hat Linux, Windows 2003, Windows XP, Oracle, IIS, SQL Server, Java, C, C++, Visual.net, Adobe Photoshop, Office 2000 and XP, AutoCAD 2009 are provided to the students through a switched network, that matches the best in this part of the state.
